Xiang Yao was in a big grassy field, the ground was more or less level. The temperature was about 70 degrees without factoring the light breeze. The sky was clear, not a cloud in sight. A perfect place to train. Yao was in his full armor suit, his helmet was laying on the ground a few feet away. The metal portions of his armor were glistening in the sun, making him a shining beacon from the distance. He had his two katana's strapped to each hip, his bladed staff was attached to his back diagonally.
He brought out the staff, just warming up. He was moving very slowly, concentrating more on his focus and breathing at the moment. He ran through various fighting sequences at this slow pace.

Wei Zhong was ready today. the temperature... prefect. the sky... amazing. The day was almost as prefect as he thought himself to be. But... as he approached his typical training spot, his open, grassy meadow, someone stood there. He was in full armor, because he enjoyed training at the weight he would be fighting at. Good thing, too... so was this man standing before him.
Wei Zhong drew his sword, the metal on metal sound like an opera to him. He pointed it at the man.
"Hello. My name is not Indigo Montoya. you did not kill my father, but... prepare to die." He said in his smooth, silky baritone. He sounded as if Frank Sinatra and Optimus Prime had a child, but... no matter. this man was coming in on his territory.
AND HOMIE DON'T PLAY THAT SHIT.

Yao was surprised to find another person here, and even more surprised to see him draw a sword. No matter, if the man wanted a fight, a fight he would get.
He smiled at the mans odd threat. So full of himself... He said in his mind. He got into a horse stance, gripping the staff with two hands in the middle of it. "If you're so sure you can kill, come at me!" He shouted, his face was calm, almost blank. He did not succumb to battle lust and anger as most warriors did.

Wei Zhong looked at him funnily. "Unless you're afraid of me... why don't you start it off?"
Wei Zhong spun his blade around in his left hand, and slowly began circling the man. Wei Zhong was about 30 yards out right now... more than enough time to mount a proper defense should the man charge.
((My even shorter post LULZ. But seriously... you start.))

Yao mimicked the mans movement, ensuring that he was always facing his opponent. he slid his hands down the staff, gripping the end of it. He stopped moving for a moment, quickly threw the staff as if it were a spear, the three inch blade on the end heading towards the man's chest. It was more a diversion than an attack, he ran forward. Drawing his two katana in the process, the metal blades gleaming gin the sun.

Wei Zhong saw the spear coming at him, as if it were a mile away to begin with. As it came towards him, he side-stepped a bit, and slammed his hand into the side of the shaft, catching the blade mid-flight. Then, with a quick repositioning of his body, he waited until his opponent was 5 yards away... and then hurled it at his right side. His left hand held his sword, and it was almost screaming for blood.
Or maybe it was just trying to imitate Danny Gokey when he tried to sing Dream On.

Yao side stepped to the left and twisted his torso slightly, the staff missing him by inches. He closed the distance to the man and when he was in fighting range, he stabbed with his left sword, aiming for the mans abdomen. He kept the right sword poised for a counter or defensive move.

the hand-guard on Zei Zhong's sword was thick and durable, and he had his sword build that way for a reason. As the sword came towards his abdomen, he brought his blade down so that his opponent's sword would hit at the base of his blade. Then, ht thrusted his blade into the ground a bit, and hopefully brought hit opponent's sword with him. KInowing full well this man had another blade with him, he made sure to keep himself on the other side of it... especially when Wei Zhong brought his foot down at an angle at the katana blade he had almost pinned to the ground.

Impressive counter, though my attack was rather poor He thought. Yao pulled back on his blade, the metal-on-metal screech barely bothering him. As he pulled, he twisted his body, so that he was able to slash at the man's neck with his right hand, As he slashed, his left arm continued back, the blade pointing down at an angle behind him, he bent his wrist and swung his arm, the tip of the blade heading for his opponents chest.

Wei Zhong smiled as the metal screech filled the air. As the right arm swung at his neck, Wei Zhong ducked... and made a quick, upwards thrust towards his opponents' right armpit, which was currently raising upwards for a downwards slash at where his chest would have been. The long part of his hand-guard was on the top, and the raven-feather collar around his neck blew in the breeze.
The smile was still on his face.

Yao brought his left katana in horizontally, and pushed foreward, pushing the blade away from his arm pit, it nicked the edge of his arm, but apart from ming a slight ping! of the armor, no damage was done. As the man ducked, he brought up a knee, intending to smash that smiling face.He held his swords in a defensive position, ready to block an incoming attack.

((I appologize for my absence. I will post here today)).
As the knee came towards Wei Zhong's face, he bent his body backwards, tightening his powerful core to keep his body at a diagonal angle under the flying knee. As his sword deflected off of the armor, he brought the pommel down towards his opponen't kneecap with such velocity, it was bound to fracture it on contact. and the man's own momentum was bringing the knee towards his sword pommel... what would his opponent do?

He swung his sword at the pommel, deflecting it just in time, his knee did get bashed, and was hurting, but he avoided the bone shattering effect. He backed away, limping slightly, and assumed a defensive stance. The knee may trouble him, but he would manage.

The flat of his opponent's blade deflected his sword, but the glancing blow did deal a bit of damage nonetheless. Wei Zhong rolled backwards as his opponent stepped back. Wei Zhong rose to a crouching stance, and waited for his opponent to make the next move.
((Not much goin on in this post, just trying to get you some dueling experience at this point.))

((Yea, if you cant tell by my vague-ish and brief posts, this is kinda new for me XD))
Xiang Yao circled his opponent, his limp getting less and less pronounced as he walked the pain off. He held his swords in and "X" formation, ready to strike at a moments notice, he was waiting for an opening.
