The sword came towards his chest; tip increasing with deadly speed. To his right, a sword flew down towards his legs, aiming to cut the arguably most useful asset a human has directly off the body. With frightening speed, the leg was lifted and stamped directly down onto the blade that attempted to deal damage, snapping it in two. Bringing his agile and stern body to a sharp twist, the sword passed harmlessly by. The warrior responded with a spear butt to the front attackers chest, before whipping it around and catching the second man in the face. To finish the job, he span once more, clockwise, bringing the spear point around to hit the exact same point of the chest that had been knocked forcefully by the butt earlier. The blade of the spear pierced the flesh with littler effort, leaving the man whom was the victim to gasp for air in a testimony of pain. Wrenching the spear out, the warrior turned to the last remaining man whom attempted to kill him. He was clenching his right cheek, the jaw had surely been fractured from the force of the hit.
The warrior's eyes scanned the plain; seven dead bodies now scattered about the dirt. Each, almost a finished meal of a fine cook, covered in crimson red dressing. The master chef now stood, eyes piercing the soul of the last remaining bandit that dared attempt to force himself upon the weak and take control. The warrior's face held no expression but pure concentration as he literally murdered the man with his stare. The bandit rushed forward with the blade of his fallen comrade and attempted a vertical slash for the face of the warrior. He was met merely with fresh air as the warrior lazily sidestepped the obvious attack and brought his shaft up to deflect the second swing, this one a horizontal one aimed for the abdomen of the warrior. Levering the shaft, he brought the butt upwards with frightening speed, catching the man in the chin, another blow to the jaw.
What happened next was pure hell for the bandit. The warrior's left leg shot out with intesnity, straight into the bandits right kneecap. A resounding crack was heard as the leg was kicked disgustingly out of place; followed by a second as the right leg soon mimicked the shape of the left leg. The bandit screamed and fell to his broken knees. The hell was not over however, as the shaft of the spear was now placed horizontally across the man's neck as the warrior vaulted himself over the fallen body. With the warrior behind the kneeling, helpless body, the spear was then wrenched against the neck's will. The man began to choke as he gasped for air.
"Who...How?" These words were the last words that the bandit could speak, he could physically not form sentences in his mouth. The warrior merely grunted as he lifted the broken body to a standing position, then to a position above the ground. "The Almighty will tell you that Ma Chao ended you, and your friends, existance. Enjoy your time in hell." Bringing the body back to a kneeling position, the warrior yelled as he brought his right foot hard into the spine of the man as he pulled back on the neck. The man's entire spinal cord snapped at a sick angle.
Mengqi's eyes closed as his body and mind began to slowly process what had happened over the space of 2 minutes. 8 men, all banded together by their sick desire for women and power, attempted to certify their control over Xi Liang. Ma Chao met them on this field, with no fear to hold him back. He had taken them out one by one. His mind began to form the pictures and motions of what had taken place. Everything was black and white, the only sounds were the effects of flesh hitting flesh, metal hitting metal, and ultimately, the sound of blood and bodies falling.
The eight men circled him, drawing their swords steadily and slowly. The warrior stood in the middle of the circle, spear hanging diagonally across his back. His hands lay at his side as he prepared himself for his only true calling in life; the taking of others. A man shot forward first, directly in front of him with a vertical strike. The warrior sidestepped to his own right, keeping his back to a second adversary as he caught the handle of the blade that happened to come straight for his body after the first vertical strike. Overpowering the man, he brought the blade in front of him and blocked a stab from a third individual. Metal clashed as he brought his elbow back into the man behind him. Using his free left hand, he snatched the sword away and brought it with scary speed to his left, catching the face of the fourth individual, he dropped with a bloody scream. With a momentum driven spin, he continued anti clockwise into the vertical strike of the fifth man, narrowly catching the side of his own rib by the adversary's blade. His spin stopped directly in the path of the sixth individual, whom attempted a stab. Yet, before his spin finished, he had grabbed onto the garment of the fifth man, and ripped him around to his front. The sword pierced the fifth man's stomach with a sick noise as the warrior the continued ramming forward, forcing the sixth man to fall over backwards. He then finished the job by impaling the sixth man while he lay on the ground with the blade. Mengqi acted straight afterwards, drawing his spear to a horizontal position as he span around to block the incoming slash from the first individual. The spear butt then shot out to the warrior's right, catching the cheek of the second individual as he attempted to stab the warrior while he was supposedly unaware. Bringing his left foot up with frightening height, he caught the nose of the first individual before spinning and brining the point around and impaling the third man whom now stood in between the first and second. With the impale, Menqi continued running forwardand planted the spear tip, and the dead man, into the ground as he vaulted himself off the ground and upside down to dodge the seventh and eighth men whom attempted both a lowe and high horizontal slash. Quickly turning around, Mengqi brought the spear over their heads horizontally and wrenched them both by the neck backwards, causing them to fly off their feet and hit the ground hard. After turning his back to the first and second individuals, he brought the spear behind him, spearpoint facing the ground, he intelligently blocked a strike to his back from the first. Kicking backwards, he caught the first in the stomach as he quickly turned around and impaled the second man in the stomach with unimagineable speed. He then quickly forced the first man to his back on the ground before bringing the spear tip up and then violently through his face. Wrenching it free with a grunt, he then turned to the now standing seventh and eighth bandits left. They were shocked...
The warrior stepped back, strapping the spear diagonally along his back. He had a specifically designed holster for his incredible weapon, one that would prove just by appearance, how incredible his entire demeanour was. Placing a bloodied finger in his mouth, the one known as Ma Chao whisteled at a high pitch. In the distance, a white stallion responded and came running at that exact moments call. With steady and compassionate hands, Mengqi grazed its nozel. "More of them. They are the ringleaders, however. I doubt any more will try their hand at control. This city belongs to the Zen Empire, Gale. Any whom try to deny that will answer you and I." A nod came from the still beast as Ma Chao jumped atop his closest and ironically, only companion. It was time to return to Tian Shui. After surveying his work one last time, the eight corpses left to the mercy of the sun, he rode off.
