::Birth of a Warrior::
Wei Yan was born to a family within the walls of Chai Sang. His family was not rich, with his father being a stable master and his mother staying home with five children, three girls and two boys. His sisters were all put to domestic chores, leaving Yan to find his own niche. He spent most of his younger days in the stables thinking this to be his career as well, but on his fourteenth birthday his father made it very clear that Wei Mai would be the only one of his sons allowed to work the stables. Yan was distraught thinking his father had an unknown hate for him. Actually, his father meant for Yan to try and develope his own career within the barracks of Chai Sang.
Years passed in the barracks, twelve to be exact, and Wei Yan was developing rather swiftly. The time had come for his graduation into service of Chai Sang and the Han Empire. A marvelous day it was, but Yan didn't go into service instantly. Instead he took four years and developed his knowledge of strategy and other types of warfare.
Six years have passed since the barracks, and in six years Yan has gathered up quite the following of men. Most of them given to him by Chai Sang. He now resides there, with his personal, hand picked men and the rest of his remaining unit.

Living Bio:
Lu Rai, born to a farmer in Zi Tong, was never ever destined for greatness. He was the sixth son out of what would become thirteen children. Seven boys and six girls. His mother died giving birth to the final child, so it was his father and thirteen kids.
At the age of fourteen his father enlisted him into the volunteer army of Zi Tong hoping to survive a drought off the money he'd be bringing in. It worked, but when asked to return back to the farm, Lu Rai couldn't make himself leave the army. The worst problem wasn't the fact he loved life of a soldier, it was he loved one of the war maidens that doctored the wounded.
At the age of sixteen he asked Kai Li to marry him. At the age of sixteen he felt heartbreak for the first time. She turned down his offer, and due to the secrecy it wasn't going to be forced upon her. That winter he left the army and returned home to the farm, to where he said "Everything made sense."
He worked on the farm for four more years before finally deciding that he missed the military, but militia was not what he wanted. He wanted more. Chaos was coming to the land, and had finally etched it's way into the peace of Zi Tong. He wanted to make it better. He wanted to make something of himself, so he left and refused to come back until he was able to make it better.
