BX was looking down into the port of Xiang Ping harbor, wasn't all that spectacular, yet anyway. BX would change that with time. Still the workers he assigned to do the task he wanted weren't numerous enough to get the job done, so he requisitioned some troops from Xiang Ping, they should be here within the hour and then the work will move along in a few hours really. Over the noise of the port BX almost didn't here it, but he swore he heard somebody saying his name. Looking around it took him a moment but almost directly below him, he saw Xum yelling at him, "What the hells are you doing." BX just waved at her from where he was hanging, BX was on a cargo crane hanging onto a bundle of roped cargo that was a couple stories high.
Waving to a few dock workers, he signaled them to lower the cargo down. Not wasting time they maneuvered the crane over a ship and lowered him down to a cargo hold. Inside he could see some crew cleaning and organizing the cargo and a few engineers were fixing rigging the water pump to spray the decks if there should be a fire. BX praised there hard work and left the ship and onto the dock where Xum was waiting. "Where have you been, I searched every tavern in the city and you weren't to be found in days." BX smiled, "well then you didn't search every tavern then," laughing he walked towards the port itself to wait for the troops to arrive to speed things along. Xum followed a few steps behind, "What were you doing with that boat?"
"Boats"
"Boats, mean your doing something with more then one?" BX turned around face her. "Why shouldn't I the boats are mine after all." Xum had a surprised look on her face, but asked, "Which boats are yours." BX turned and spread his arms wide, "All of them...well except the small ones, the fishing boats, the dozen or so merchant boats oh and a couple privately owned boats...Okay all the large boats except....you know what nevermind suffice to say I have the makings of a an large fleet in the works." Turning back to port he quicken his pace before Xum could ask anymore annoying questions. His luck was with him and thousands of warriors were waiting. Clapping a his hands together, BX yelled loudly, "Now all you troops are going to be fixing up your future ride, I want old wood replaced, help with loading up of food and barrels of sand, and help the engineers and shipwrights in any rigging up they need and especally make sure the water pumps are working correctly I want to be able to pour out any flooding water into the ocean or onto the deck at will. The bamboo pipes that will dip into the sea to pump water on the deck should it catch fire you must handle with care, any broken bamboo will come out of your pay understand." Sweeping his arm in dismissing motion, "Get to work!"
Xum finally asked the obvious question, "Where did you get all these boats anyway." BX shrugged, "I bought them from shipwrights, merchants, intimidated some would be pirates, made a few concessions too and coerced people for them." Xum nodded, "Does the Grand Master know about this and that your having his troops do this work?" BX shrugged, "No, why." Xum pointed over his shoulder, "cause he's standing over there." BX didn't believe her, but just in case he turned to look.

Masaru stood watching the men work speedily.
He turned to Xum and spoke
"I am not the Grandmaster, I am Chunin of the Igamura Clan, Masaru"
Masaru turned towards BX and spoke
"Maximus sends word that we will be leaving for Bei Ping and wishes you to have your boats ready in time.
Oh and he was aware you were doing this, we are ninjas, we know everything that goes on around here. I have taken the liberty of having the commanders send down the entire garrison of 50,000 soldiers to the port to speed up the process. They should be here shortly."
Masaru then turned to watch the first lines of the mass of soldiers come marching down the hills, with their banners held high in the air singing songs.

Xum watch BX's face instead of fear, she saw that he quickly scanned the surroundings while focusing hard on Masaru. BX seemed tense, she wouldn't say fear gripped him, but expectant caution. BX casually moved so that his balance was perfect and removed his robes hood so that he had better view, effectively revealing his weapons, almost as a warning. Xum seeing this was somewhat scared, she would consider him a master of the shaolin fist and never acted this way. BX however just smiled. "nan desuka?" bowing respectfully but almost mockingly to Masaru, never taking his eyes off of him. "Watashi wa hashitte imasu. sayonara, taicho." and leaves his eyes staying on Masaru till the very last.

Masaru raised his eyebrow
"Anata wa koukai Bei Ping naraba anata wa bekarazu sate Maximus san hyoushi wa anata desu."
The men were filing down in large numbers now and setting to work on the boats without need of instruction. The mass of 50,000 soldiers started picking up things and getting to work on the construction of the boats.
"You told Maximus you wished for a free China, now you have your chance to do so, do not throw it away, the lives of millions rest in your hands Shaolin.
It will take no more than an hour for your boats to be upgraded with such a vast force. You are here for the same reasons as us, we are brothers to the same cause, do not turn on your brothers."
Masaru then went back to his flawlessly composed stance and looked at BX, there was no sign of Masaru being intimidated.

Xum was setting things up at the port, when a strange boat pulled in. they didn't speak mandarin or cantonese but she recognized one name Maximus. she managed to get across to them that she worked for Maximus, they handed her a letter with strange symbols. the boat left. Immediately after.
