The Palace is situated within the central plaza of the city. Great pillars and walls adorn each side as a ramp waves through the first courtyard into the main city’s hall. Ahead of the hall is the second gate, where a barracks and a stable lean off on both sides. Beyond that is the main entrance to the palace, where guards are stationed on all sides leading into the inner throne room. There the respective governor or prefect resides, perched against the great golden throne of the cities constituency.

(Norion told me to do it! Curse the shortness also)
Mei Lien thought about why she had left but something in her felt like that was not where she belonged, of course it could of been a stupid decision but hey it could lead to something better. She was walking to wherever really at the moment she had no particular destination though she soon found herself in a city. Why she was there...well she had no idea guess that's what you get for not paying attention to which way you were going. Looking around for a while she manged to find out where she was Jiang Ling...Mei Lien was certain that one of the rebellions made home here but...she could never be to sure. Giving out a breath she knew that there had to be a center to this place so what was she going to find, the palace of course.
Giving out a light breath she made her way up the stairs, her feet hitting the steps lightly as Mei Lien made her way up...what she entirely expected she was not to sure. They probably were not hostile well Lien could hope they were not but she was a total stranger so could she entirely blame them? It was to late to find out what would happen anyways because she had made her way up and was standing there, smirking lightly she looked at the guards. It felt familiar being in a situation perhaps she was going to get another chance to question a ruler again she really did not know. Even then, wars had started breaking out so who knew if any of them would even be there...letting a breath out she finally decided to say something.
"May I ask if their is anyone that I could perhaps have a word with that is in at the moment?" she tilted her head and gave a light smile. After all, she was some women who had happened to walk up...might as well try to not make herself look to crazy and actually put on a bit of a act. The smile was quickly replaced with a smirk as she rested a hand on her hips and pursed her pink lips together as her eyes wondered the place. All of it looked so fresh and so new, the people who were walking the city seemed happy but that could always be deceiving she really had no idea. It did not appear to be fake happiness though, maybe it was just some sort of image she planted in her brain out of hope but oh well.
Mei Lien hardly looked threatening as she stood in front of them, she was of average height long brown hair back slightly in a ponytail though some of the hair had come loose from it. Gray eyes looked around lightly as she was someone who was not the biggest fan of making eye contact but no one would ever know that. This place seemed interesting though at least to her it just had a feeling that was different from the other cities she had passed threw before, it seemed to grab a hold of her... Something in her head told her that she should stay there, that it was the right place to be but Lien really did not want to believe that until she got a chance to talk to someone. It could look good, but it could easily be coated in the sweetest of venom...only time would tell.
Most places in the world were coated in the sweetest of venom's and the only time you would see that was when it was a little to late. That was mostly because you always wanted to believe that everyone and everything in this world is good, you have been taught that sense you were a child after all. Parents told you that, other kids...it was hard to believe that regardless of all those lessons there were people out in the world with nothing but bad intentions. The longer it took you to see that, the longer you wasted time in living in some sort of fantasy world, it was that simple. Mei Lien would never say it though, because lets face it who wanted to hear something like that?

The Wei Wei Dui nodded, parting slightly and giving entrance to the grand audience hall. Within, Mei Lien would find Lu Meng sitting a table nearby, many advisors and generals surrounding him.
He motioned for the girl to come forwards.
"How may I help you, m'lady?"
