Young Jiang Shen is quite often a very calm individual. He's pretty agreeable if he considers it logical. He'll work hard to make use of time and good results. History:
In Japan, a young one was born to a household in a small village. The village, located in the long forgotten Mount Ashigara, would celebrate as the Shenmue household bore its new heir: Shenmue Takezo. The boy would grow with considerable athletic ability and proved to be quite the scholar as he learned much about the world of martial arts and philosophy. He was also being raised to lead his father's clan, and was certain he would be bred for greatness.
At the age of eighteen, the boy received two gifts for his birthday as a mark of achievements: The sword known as Silver Legacy and his father's bow and arrow set. The young boy also learned of a task he would need to undertake to prove his standing in the family as the next leader of the Shenmue Clan. The Council of Elders voted for the boy to embark on a journey to distant China. There he would choose and embrace his destiny through the choices and use of skill he had obtained at home. It was decided. To honour the decision the clan had made, young Takezo set out for China.
The boy spent three years as a wanderer and thankfully made use of learning the language. He was in Wei territory, and in a small village much like his own. They called him Jiang Shen, and the boy actually took a liking to the name. Now 21 years of age, the boy thought it was time to leave and embrace his destiny. He was to find a kingdom, and join their ranks as a common soldier. His adventure begins here.
