Raiding
Raiding can be broken down into three sections. The first being the easiest and the third being the hardest. Now, let me begin:
1. Surprise Attacks on farms, warehouses, ect ect
Very basic attack, this basically states that you can get rewards from attacking a warehouse or a farm, but the rewards will be low, you won’t lose hardly any soldiers, which is great but, you also won’t get enough rewards to really benefit from the attack. Note: people aren’t stupid, you raid in this way too often and you might find a few extra units defending these small isolated villages or camp sites.
2. Convoys
The convoy route is actually one of the most rewarding and if you go for the last option with convoy raids then it is the most rewarding, but it’s also very hard and there aren’t many of these types of convoys going around. Do remember that the higher convoys are less frequent, so don’t try doing these sorts of convoy raids every other day, it won’t work. Below is the list of the convoy size and the troop tiers usually assigned to them. Like with all things – the harder the fight the better the reward.
Small convoy, 50 - 250 troops, all low tier
Medium Convoy - 250 - 500 troops - low and mid tier
Large Convoy - 500 - 2000 troops - medium to high tier
Imperial Convoy - 2000 - 6000 troops - high tier/lots of jing rui wei wei dui
3. Town/City raids.
By far the hardest to do, this is where you attack a city, get inside, pillage and loot and then retreat, this can be ‘set-up’ in a variety of ways, inside help, generic influence, persuasion, there are ltos of ways to get you help, the only downfall is that you’re very limited to what you can actually achieve without getting lots of enemies on your doorstep. This will grant you massive amounts of loot, especially if you manage to ransack entire estates before fleeing, just remember that the owner of that city might just come and hunt you down, so do this at your own risk. Just remember that if you did do this, you’d be LOADED.
So that’s the 3 main ways of raiding, there are other ways, like stealing, generic theft, doing toll’s on bystanders, attacking merchants, looting small villages, destroying areas, including trees for wood that you’d sell off to a city far far away. I don’t know, use your imagination, just remember the 1 prime law.
THE HARDER IT IS THE BETTER THE REWARD.
