The Roman Colosseum You've been transported back in history to Rome and the time of the gladiators. The Romans have stopped their events for this duel. There are 50,000 spectators all wanting to see bloodshed. The floor of the Colesseum is wooden with about a foot of sand covering it. There is nothing else on the field but the four duellists. The arena itself is about 290 feet x 180 feet, and the walls are 30 feet high. Everyone must post once before the next round can begin. Once you have formed your posting order, you must stick to it. Default time each person has to post is 24 hours.

Cao Zhang waited patiently for the duel to start. However, he figued 'why not entertain the massive crowd while waiting'.
Grabbing his double headed spear, he started to twirl it with both hands followed by bringing it up and rolling it across his neck. He then whipped it around again, in front of his body, and then behind his back.
The crowd responded with cheers and flowers. Ok, maybe not flowers but they knew that Zhang was the sexiest combatant.
Cao Zhang finished up with sliding the spear outward, then grabbing it near the plume, turning and then smashing it down on the ground. He raised to his feet slowly and had the end pointing directly at Zhao Yun.

Ryou appeared awaiting for the last two people to show up so they can get the show started.

Cao Zhang reached down, pretending to tie his laceless shoes, and picked up some dirt in his left hand. Then, he quickly darted forward toward Zhao Yun. When in range he threw the dirt with his left hand, toward Yun's eyes, and stabbed forward with his spear about mid level.

*The crowds favourite was of course Gao Lan, he was a celebrity, men wanted him and women wanted to be him. The ultimate showman was sure to put on a good show, who could resist his demagogic charms? He was eagerly awaited, these others were merely fodder for Gao Lan to pierce and offer their carcasses to the blood hungry audience. The plebs were to be disappointed however as their hero was not to arrive, a messenger wearing sandals and carrying a scroll of papyrus arrived in the arena and announced a surprise guest duelist. Gao Lan was not to arrive, the peoples dreams turned into nightmares, the sun vanished behind clouds darkening the once bright ring, Mortiss was to be the fourth duelist this day.*
*He was jogging, head down, his hair as always covering his face, his double blades were already drawn. He was naked besides a fragile rag that covered his legs and groin, his battle scars seemed near fatal and even self inflicted. Nobody had much of a chance to check this newcomer out as he was upon Ryou Kin almost as soon as he entered. He looked up revealing his black eyes that appeared to flash red for a moment and checked Kins position, he began to weave from left to right still running. Kin would have to defend himself, it was clear Mortiss was coming for his blood.*

(Yo Mortiss! Your double blades could be a number of things. Please confirm with me what your weapon is.)
The time has come! Cao Zhang has already started to make his move against Zhao Yun, yet this other man have not come yet. He must be bored of the wait, and so was Kin starting to get. The thought of just making a three-way without the last guy would still be crazy, but Gao Lan would enter the ring of death today. A dark skin man, with very loose hair appeared. Head down, no eyes seen. An evil approach this guy took, and heading right for Kin, jogging toward him.
Both of Kin's hands flew to the handles of his blades. His left sweeps across his front side, and resting on the hilt of one of his swords on his right hip. The right hand went up, reaching for the other side on his back. Both hands firmly gripped the handles, slowly pulling his weapons out for a second, then sweeping them both out into a defensive position.
His body is tilted a bit, chest could still be seen from Mortiss's position. Both his hands and blades are to his side, awaiting for another great fight. Kin's eyes stay lock on his target even if his opponent was weaving left and right. Bending his knees slightly, taking a deep breath, he was ready for his fight!

// Bare with me Ryan, I’ve got a bad head, knee, back and feeling a little bit sick, so understand if this isn’t my best, but I’ll still try my best
Zhao Yun was bound by the wrists as men rushed back a forth, weaving between others in the same business – making fighters worthy of producing an epic battle. To Zhao Yun the whole ordeal was strange, very different from his homeland, where a duel was honourable and to a large part, giving the men involved the freedom to decide when and where, and indeed if they fought at all. This however was very much different, barbaric almost, yet they acted like he was the scum, how Zilong would love to wipe the smirk off their faces.
The gate opened, and unlocked from his captivity, he was greeted with a spear, and nothing more. He sighed, peering down the dark tunnel that ended in light, surely the fighting arena. Yun lowered his head slightly, as a piercing and determined look crossed his face, he was a person who would not be pushed around anymore, and he would show that, they would fear the day they released the great Dragon of Shu.
Blinded nearly by the intense sun the day offered the men, Zilong paced forward, slowly taking in the sight. There was an atmosphere like none other, the kind that would make lesser men shrink, but for a warrior such as Zhao Yun, produced nothing more than adrenaline, a will to survive if you will.
The crowd cheered, but not to Zhao Yun, no another men stood on the other side of the arena, cocky, arrogant, and sad as it may seem at the time, Zhao Yun pitied the man, he had no idea the plight he would find himself in. Seconds later, the Wei general signed his death warrant, sprinting forward after grabbing a clump of dirt from off the floor, as you might expect, it brought a curious right eyebrow to rise.
There was no time to think, as Yun studied the man, his hand positioning, all in favour of a quick one handed stab. All too easy. As quick as legends stated, Zhao Yun turned his head to the left, no longer facing the man as the sand splashed harmlessly on the side of the face, at least the few particles that had were not already taken by the wind, doing little more than decreasing the attacker’s own sight, just the fault Zhao Yun hoped for.
His left hand took to the upper parts of the spear handle, whilst his right was lower, and with precision and timing, tilted his body to the right, whilst pushing out with his near-vertical spear with reasonable force in a parry. Now came the part that would surely bring Cao Zhang back down to earth on exactly what he could do against Zilong, as his left hand grip changed, his wrist twisting in such a way his thumb would now be pointing downwards.
The adjustment was quick, he’d done this many times in the past, and the inevitable came as he pushed his right hand upwards, and brought his left down and back, producing an uppercut with the blunt end of his Dragonspear. It was not a move to kill, but it was a move to stun and hurt – a lot. But the cunning warrior was not over yet, realising his predicament with a raised guard, he brought his right foot up, and aimed it towards the close in enemy, presumably knocking him further off balance and away from the counter attacker, who could then reform his guard.

(I have no clue what just happened, tis why I dislike dueling.)
Cao Zhang's dirty trick seemed to backfire as the dirt missed his initial target and now blew lightly in his own face. It was not what he would have wanted against such a highly skilled duelist, but if he had gotten it in Yun's eyes the match may have been over.
The stab forward was parried by Zhang's opponent and then a counter strike launched. The next thing Zhang knew was that a hard object smacked him right under the chin and no it was not someone's weiner.
He stumbled backward, seeing stars, but unfortunately was sent reeling even further back by a straight kick to the chest.
"Gah!"
-thud-
Quickly Zhang tried to get to his feet. He had lost his helmet from the double attack, but now his sexy long black hair was flowing for all the ladies in the crowd.
"You son of a b*tch" he said, wiping the blood from his chin. It may have really hurt, but now he had a cool Indiana Jones scar to show off.
Zhang set his double headed spear and raced forward. He had no clue what the hell move was going to be unleashed so he tried the following:
X then A then LB + A
Zhang stabbed straight forward, with both hands for support, but then he sidestepped to the right a bit and brought the other end of the spear up, over, and down? That was all he could think of at the moment.

*Kin had adopted a defensive position, if this was the right plan or not would be seen in due course. Mortiss had always been an aggressive fighter, he hated being on the defence, he had to attack, it was his nature. Power, intensity and aggression were his great strengths as a duelist. He fought like an animal relying on pure instinct, It appeared as though his opponents were 'intelligent' duelists, just the kind of arrogant snobs that Mortiss loved to disembowel. Every second counted to Mortiss and he had no time to think about his moves, his speed was immense, his lack of an sort of Armour allowed him to move at much greater speeds than most opponents he fought, and he was built like an athlete.*
*His double swords added further to his speed, they were strange blades, It appeared as though they had been crafted by the barbarian himself. He named them his 'Swords of Dysfunction', they were both 40 inches long from blade to hilt, and they had ridges like those of a saw which allowed the shedding of their targets skin and allowed for devastating wounds once impact had been made and they were extremely light to wield, especially for somebody as deceptively strong as Mortiss.*
*He was upon Kin quickly, he took one last look to know his position and then feigned to the left of his prey before leaping to Kins right. He turned his body and legs so that he was facing Kins right side, With one fluid motion he slashed his right blade from right to left across the sides of Kins knees, his spare blade was gripped tightly and with a powerful thrust he aimed to penetrate Kins lower body. Mortiss was a short man, his height was 5ft 5 but this gave him the ability to hit low without straining his body and leaving himself as vulnerable as a much taller man inevitably would.*

Surly this man was indeed quick, but Ryou should be able to stick with him. Mortiss still weaved into and out, left and right, moving directly toward Kin with much speed. These kind of first attacks are mostly known. Whatever side this guy looks like he is going to attack first, Kin already knows it will switch up, and even if it didn't, he still is ready to hold his line.
Mortiss now nears Kin on his left side, but leaps to his right side. One of Mortise' swords, the right one, slashes to the left, and kinda low for him, at Kin's knees. This is easy to block for Kin. He simply pointed his left handed sword toward the ground, having about 6 inches of space, from his hand to his leg, attempting to block his opponent's attack. The attack would be absorbed. making the space 5 to 4 inches to his hand and leg. Kin tightened up his grip of his left sword, pushing against the attack on his knees. The force he gave to Mortiss was equal to what Kin was receiving.
While this very motion is going on, Kin turned his body to face his opponent and only to find more coming his way, a stab. His eyes sees the other weapon coming for his lower body, yet again. Rising his right handed blade, brings his weapon to the very front of him, sweeping back around in a circle, counter-clockwise. As the attempt of intercepting this stab, Kin continues to move his right leg back, trying to dodge as much of the stab as possible until his blade connects with Mortiss'. When both weapons do make contact, Kin will attempt to push Mortiss stab to the right so the dodge would be successful.

// Gotta make this quick, not that you all mind
His attack landed, bringing a grin to Zhao Yun’s face, ye there was no time to waste, as a recovering enemy was already sprinting forward. It was a simple move, a stab, not much else that could be done in such a situation and on the move, and Zhao Yun would have little trouble dismissing the attack, as nothing more than a minor pest. Pushing again to the side with a vertically angled spear, he would sidestep to the right, ensuring no harm could come to him.
Cao Zhang then brought his weapon back, and strangely brought it up over his head, and aimed the other side of his double bladed spear down towards Zilong. A peculiar move, but then again Yun was not someone who stuck to the generally regarded “correct” way of fighting, he too experimented, and would not dismiss this attack as idiocy, though the thought did tempt his mind.
The beauty of the spear was the diversity of its potential, and proving against just that he took to a more... standard approach and leapt back, having been given enough warning by the withdrawal of the initial stab, and then the rising of the spear. Now all that was needed was the correct timing, and Zhao Yun would send his own, orthodox stab forward with his spear, one handed to get best reach, and keep himself out of harm. Aimed towards the midsection, and made even more dangerous with a step forward, one Zhang’s attack had crashed to the floor.
Was the duel over? Who knew, Zhao Yun never lowered his defences though.

Cao Zhang's first attack was blocked and the second failed as well. Zhao Yun then attacked with a stab toward the midsection to which Zhang tried to move. However, he was cut deep from the spear head. He managed to avoid getting impaled, but the wound was too bad to go on.
Cao Zhang ended the duel due to injury.
Congrats and I apologize it was not a challenge. I never signed up to begin with, just figured I would go a couple rounds with you.
