Income here is simple.
Rebels and Wei Kingdom members get 500 gold per week.
Rebel and Wei Kingdom rulers get 750 gold per week.
Everyone gets:
2 units of troops in any combination of militia and peasants
50 upgrade points (Note: this new addition comes to play on the 2nd collection date, which opens on Friday the 3rd of July 2009)
To collect your items you must post in the designated thread inside the bank. If you forget to post one week, then tough. You don't get your items. Collection threads will be open for 4 days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
If you are going on holiday or are busy with school or work and you are unable to post for whatever reason, you still do not get your items, so don't go crying to an admin. The items are your reward for being on our site and being an active contributor. If you are gone, then we've lost an active member for a period of time. We will not reward inactivity.
See? Simple.
Now moving on to Fame...
Most everyone has been on a site where fame was a stat used to determine weekly pay. Many of us were able to see the flaw in that system. The first Betrayal of the Three Kingdoms used it, but this Betrayal is going to fix that flaw.
If you don't know what I'm talking about I will explain. Each character had a set of preset stats, one of those stats being fame. Fame was higher and lower depending on how 'famous' the character was in history, and the game Dynasty Warriors. A character like Lu Bu had very high fame, but anyone could choose to play as him, even a brand new person. A veteran could choose a lesser known character with less fame, but they would be getting less gold per week than the new person because of some silly stat. Doesn't seem to fair does it?
But because the old Betrayal had this stat, the new Betrayal will as well, only we are going to even the playing field to make it fair for everyone.
Everyone, no matter how famous your character may have been, will be starting at 0 Fame. It will be your actions that raise or lower this number. You may do tasks, and participate in battles to gain rewards, and fame will be included in those rewards. Now, your fame is how 'well known' you are to other characters on the site. If you lose a duel, you're not as famous are you? This is one way that your fame can go down. Be careful with what you do, because all of your actions - good or bad - determine your fame.
Your fame stat determines how much extra gold you will be getting each week. For each point of fame, you will get 10 extra gold. So basically, add a zero to the end of your fame and thats how much gold you will be adding on to your income.
You must post the gold you will be getting from your fame points in the collections thread. Just add it on to your regular income.
Sound fair?
