At the age of fourteen his father enlisted him into the volunteer army of Zi Tong hoping to survive a drought off the money he'd be bringing in. It worked, but when asked to return back to the farm, Lu Rai couldn't make himself leave the army. Name: Chen ZenTitle: Dragon's Blade Age: 24 Sex: MaleHeight: 6 foot 2 inchesWeight: 215 lbsAppearance:(his physical looks are about like this but with brown eyes and no red highlights in his hair =D oh and probobly lose the metal claw thingy) Weapon 1:These two swords are nicknamed the left and right hands of ryuujin an ancient mythological dragon. They are very thin blades and not very heavy but very sharp so can be moved very swfitly. They are nearly incapable at breaking through tough armor but can slice through cloth and skin rather quickly. The blades length are both 65 cms long. The weight of each blade is about 5 lbs. Weapon 2:This sword was nicknamed The Dragon's Fang. This blade has a large black hilt which contains many red carvings. The blade is average length but it has a black tint and near the hilt there is an engraving of a red dragon. This sword is slightly heavier than normal swords which makes it good against slow moving opponents with heavy armor on. The blade length is about 105 cm. The weight of this blade is somewhere around 15 lbs. (it looks like the sword in the appearance picture) Personality:Zen always even in some of the harshest conditions tries to keep a steady mind and remain calm. Though there are many times when his anger gets the best of him and he can make very rash decisions without thinking them through. When in normal settings he keeps his manners at the top of his mind and tries to be a gentleman at all costs. He seems to always have a smile upon his face when he isn't in a stressful enviornment and he tries to enjoy his life to the fullest. History: A small village with less than fifty inhabitants sat at the edge of a large lake in southern Chai Sang. This village lived with peace and tranquility for many years. Although there was never a specific person appointed as the governing body of this village many people looked to a former soldier who had retired in this tiny village as the leader. This man's name was Chen Jing. This man lived a very comfortable life with his wife and three sons. His three sons were named: Chen Zen, Chen Zing, and Chen Zang. Zen was the oldest followed by Zing then Zang. At very young ages their father tought them the skills necissary to be a soldier. Swordsmanship, Archery, Strategy, Survival skills. Their training wasn't the most pleasent thing they had gone through in their childhood but it was necissary for what was to come. When they neared their adulthood the village was being intimidated by a newly formed group of bandits that were hiding in the area. They were taxing the village heavily which put the village at near bankruptcy. They were running out of food for themselves and they couldn't buy new supplies because of their small amount of money that they barely held onto. Zen one day went out on a hike with his two brothers to gather some food. When they returned hours later they found their village to be ablaze. The bandits had come. The village because of its lack in money and supplies were unable to pay the bandits their tax so they were eliminated. Zen and his brothers rushed in to find everyone murdered. Their home gone and their family gone. They had nothing left. It was then that they decided to follow in their father's footsteps and become powerful warriors so they could one day return and take revenge on the lowlife scum that had stolen their lives from them. Soon after they left their destroyed home they found a small temple within a deep forest. There they met a group of monks that trained in the art of combat. The three boys were taken in by the monks and trained them continuously. They went through extremely harsh training so they could remove imperfections in their specific fighting styles. Zing was trained to become a master archer. He was taught many styles of archery. He even was taught how to make his own bows and arrows from scratch. Zang was taught the way of the spear. He started with a mere wooden stick and lept higher in strength and began using a halberd. Zen was trained in the art of the sword. He excelled with single handed swords and became a strong user of dual weapons. After nearly 5 years of training with the monks they departed on the path of their coming destinys. The three brothers had become adults and grand warriors. Although the thought of vengence still hung in their mind they decided that the best plan of action was to make for Jian An and the leaders of Wu. OOC: I'm going to make Zing and Zang my npcs probobly

P.S: you may want to add how long your weapons are, some people are rather picky about that.

Character DetailsMy first NPCName: Shao Ping Age: 35 Sex: Male Height: 6'4" Weight: 195lb. Appearance:Tall and thin, though still somewhat toned. Black hair down to his mid-back. Brown eyes, a chiseled face. Casual Apparel: Peasant Garb Formal: A long sleeved purple silk shirt and pants. Weapon Slot 1:A black hilted dagger he purchased from an unknown source, he hides it, leading people into believing he's unarmed. Personality:A shy, but kind man who doesn't believe in living extravagantly. He finds it unnecessary, and chooses to live among peasants. Instead of being out and about among people, he spends his time pouring over books and blueprints, always thinking of new inventions to try out. He has few friends, and aside from work related people, they are the only people he ever chooses to be around. History: Born into a wealthy family, he was brought up in the lap of luxury. He showed a liking for building things at a young age, something his parents deemed "peasant work" and tried turning his passion elsewhere. He resisted their efforts, and continued to work with inventing and construction all throughout his life. He eventually left his parents in search of a more comfortable lifestyle, without all the pointless extravagance money brings. He met Xiang Yao during this move, and after a few months, became good friends with him. To this day, he dreams of being the kings personal inventor, wishing to use his ideas to make machines of war to ensure Shu victory.

Character Details[/i] My second NPCName:[/i] Shao Lee Age:[/i] 26 Sex:[/i] Male Height:[/i] 6'6" Weight:[/i] 250lb. Appearance:[/i] Without the cap, and fangs. He has shortcropped brown hair, and piercing green eyes. (No hand axes either) Weapon Slot 1:[/i] Only black, he wears it coiled on his hip. Weapon Slot 2:[/i] More realistically sized of course. Is about 4' from top to bottom. Personality:[/i] Wild and unpredictable, this barbaric man has one dream: To have beasts used as tools of war. Though not overly cruel, he tends to be harsh and violent. In times of battle, which he puts himself in often, he acts like the very animals he trains. Using his brute force to his advantage. History:[/i] Lee was born into a poor family, and his parents dies of disease while he was still young. Only thirteen when his parents dies, he fled to the forests, where he battled for survival every day. Over the years, not only did he grow huge, but he learned to survive in the harshest of conditions, sometimes acting more beast than a man. He has grown a certain affinity towards animals, and so trains them. While they may become tame by his strict hands, they are still fierce, for he hopes to one day use his pets as war tools for the Shu Empire. His only tie to Yao, who he considers to be weak although Yao is a superior fighter, is that Yao once saved his life from a pack of tigers. Shao had foolishly tried to take them all at once, and was nearly dead before Yao arrived to save him. He respects Yao as much as one could expect him to, and is perhaps the only one he treats kindly. If you could call it that.

Character DetailsName: Yan Xiu Title: Age: 22 Sex: Male Height: 5'11 Weight: 86 Kilograms Appearance:Weapon Slot 1: Bo Staff, Linkable. Weapon Slot 2:War GauntletsPersonality:Yan Xiu is known to be laid back and relaxed off the battlefield scene, but when it is time to enter the horrors of war, his enitre persona changes. He changes from a respectful chilled guy, to a honourable punk. He becomes serious, but still adds rather arrogant comments into his contexts. History: I'm going to write this later, but basically he is Yan Liang's son. As for the weapons, I am up for discussing the realism of them. The gauntlets I can absolutely prove that they are not beyond the technology of the current time (though armguard would be made of leather, while the blades would be made of steel). However, I am expecting the bo staff to be questioned. I am unsure when the whole inter-linking staff idea came into the world. But yeah, feel free to make me change it. My actual profile will be MUCH more descriptive, as you already saw with Ma Chao.

mm, the Triple Section Staff wasn't made popular until the mid 900's, buuut its not an impossible weapon. The gauntlets are of course made of leather and iron/steel, as you said, so I'll approve it.
Welcome back. I'll try not to kill you this time (No promises)
