Much as easy as the assassin could dodge to the right, Meng could duck. As he did so, the assassin's horizontal blade thrust easily over his head. Meng's pole stopped, mid way down, Meng now position in a crouched position. His left hand reached around, and pirouetting on one foot...
The spear tip would sweep horizontally, at midsection height. The man was already leaning slightly, from the last block, and leaning anymore would probably end in his toppling over. His blade was extended above him, his attack passing harmlessly above Meng. Meng's left hand connected with the bottom half of his shaft, his right hand holding onto the pike attempting the kill. With the connection of his left hand with the pole, the power would double, just in time for the strike, increasing its acceleration.
The pole would end behind his back, the spear cutting horizontally towards the man's stomach. Would he dodge it in time? Meng hoped not. There was little time for him to realize the attack.

A simple duck was all it took Lu Meng to evade the assassin's blade. Though he made it look effortless, many would fall victim to such an effective strike that was executed so quickly from a skilled swordsman. Now, however, they were rather close, and Lu Meng swept his hooked spear across his body to gash at the young assassin's stomach.
It would be with much precision that his next parry would set up the swordsman's next attack. Again, with a lone hook sword he'd defend himself. He placed his sword in the path of the shaft of the incoming spear, tilting it so that it may ride up the edge of the sword toward the hooked blade at the handguard, and there it would lock loosely in place. He had caught Lu meng's polearm right at the end of the shaft, before the polearm turned to the bladed spearhead.
The assassin was caught in a deadlock that he held the cards to, holding the momentum of his own sword and now partially controlling the end of Lu Meng's weapon. With both hands holding the hilt of his sword, he lifted Lu Meng's polearm, shifted himself to his left, around Lu Meng's body before slashing to the ground, releasing both blades out of the deadlock, and also finding himself in perfect position for one final, fatal strike. As he came out of the deadlock, his sword was elevated at his knees. From there, he shot in close range, thrusting his sword up quickly, a strike that would tear at Lu meng's gut and leave him destroyed.

Err... You dropped your sword before =\ That kinda negates almost all of your post. And my strike happens almost simultaneously with yours, so bringing it down from your jab at where my throat was to close enough to your body to stop the spear is moving at inhuman speeds. Gonna have to call a duel mod in on this

I never dropped my main sword, only my off-hand sword. My main sword is the one which I jabbed with in my previous post. As for the simultaneous swing, my jab was a quick shot that was while you swung hard down, so by the time you ducked, and gained your spear back, it would leave plenty of time for me to recover from a light jab with the end of a sword.
But you can call a duel mod, or pause it so we can discuss it ourselves, up to you.

The spear slice was done with the motion of the downward moving blade; there was no 'regaining' my spear. You said you jabbed around the same time my attack was, so I dropped and swung, with your arm outstretched, to bring it back in and towards the area where the head of my spear is would call for ungodly accuracy, and speed, since the slice is happening around the time that your blade has reached its total length.

Let's discuss this on MSN tomorrow or something, and if we can't conclude to anything, we can call for a duel mod or two to decide.
